Thank you for stopping by our web site. Coyote Joe's opened originally in 1982 as SALDANA'S TACO SHOP,
and soon became a favorite with islanders, and visitors alike. In 1996 the shop next door became available
so with business booming Joe and Trudy decided it was time to grow their little taco shop. A dining room
and full bar were added and the transformation began. Now being a full service restaurant a new name
was needed and COYOTE JOE'S was born. At Coyote Joe's we are always looking for ways to better serve
you. We added our popular Mexican style breakfast in 2001, and in 2002 we added our open air patio. We
started this web site in 2004 in order to keep in touch with our mainland friends, and to let new visitors
know that we are here. Thank you for stopping by our website and we hope you will include us in your visit

Avalon is an early dining town, even in the summer months. Most restaurants close
by 9:00 pm so please plan accordingly.
Coyote Joe's is open daily year round serving authentic Mexican dishes for lunch and dinner.
In the spring and summer months we feature our popular Mexican style breakfast on Saturday
and Sunday morning's. We prepare our menu item's daily to ensure you have the freshest and
best Mexican food available on the island.

We are located at 113 Catalina Street, just 50 feet from the foot of the green pleasure pier.
Enjoy a meal or snack on our sidewalk patio, or just relax between tours and enjoy one of our
delicious margarita's, Cazuela Punch, Buffalo Milk,or an ice cold beer. We have a full bar to
serve up what ever type of libation you like. We also feature HAPPY HOUR Monday - Friday
